Network
Network Scouts is for Young Adults aged between 18 and 25 years. It is aimed at providing a forum for keeping in touch with friends who have been through Scouting and want to keep in touch with as they move into adulthood. It also gives a chance to meet new friends and to organise Adventurous and Social gatherings. Unlike Scouts, Network doesn’t meet weekly, but at times when it suits them.
Network Scouts can still gain their Queens Scout, Gold Duke of Edinburgh and Explorer Belt awards. They can also help with Scouting supporting activities that the Scout Groups and Districts put together.
You can also volunteer for the International Service Team on Jamborees or be part of the Jamboree main organising team. The opportunities in an organisation of 35 million members (in every country of the world, bar 6) are enormous.
