Squirrels is our youngest section and is aimed at children aged 4 to 6 years. We have 4 Squirrel Dreys in Sutton Coldfield East District.

Spaces are usually tight in most dreys with waiting lists at most. Leader availability is also a problem in that most colonies have to meet early and this reduces the available pool of adults able to help run the meetings.

That said, all Squirrel dreys organise exciting programmes to make the experience as fun and educational as possible.

We need as much adult help as we can get and in order to reduce waiting lists we need more adults to volunteer to help. With virtually all our Squirrel dreys having full membership quotas (each drey is restricted to a maximum of 24), we are talking about new sections, which is not easy to achieve.
